In light of recent issues with damaged ships I'm going to guess this pushes back release until end of summer. I'll take September 3, 2014 please?

Ok I am confused. Have I missed something, what is the new date for? I thought Wave 2 hit the warehouse on 5/20 ending the contest. Is this for Victory and Constitution or when Wave 2 is officially released?

Ed can confirm, but I believe he's allowed folks to change their Victory/Constitution dates due to ship production issues and damage to Wave 2? The Wave 2 contest is definitely over and no one was a winner (although Eric was darn close).

I looked at Ares website, and there wasn't any indication of the ships coming in during the summer. I wasn't sure if these being special would not be posted as other releases. The 21st of October would be poetic.

Three contests and I still have all my ships. Even though there was a seven month spread on the picks.
Well, I did try to warn all of you: Gaming companies are infamous for their inability to achieve a given release date -- the product is either done correctly, but late; or on time but riddled with bugs; or, most often, Late and Buggy. Esp. with the Wave 2 clusterf***, there was no way on this Earth Ares was going to release them before year's end.
