Have got to say, based on Nexus and Ares history. They are not worried about seasonal sales, they seem to sell out most times with whatever they make, so they do not have to worry about such trivial things; irregardless of traditional business models.

I agree that this is a bit (or totally) disappointing, but I kind of see this from the standpoint that a KS project is an adventure into unknown new product launch territory and I think that these things happen.
While a bit of grumbling is probably not unreasonable, I don't think that anyone here believes that Ares is doing anything other than the best they can to get us the stuff attached to the pledges.
This is, after all, the first time around this particular block for them.
KS projects are typically this way. Getting orders sorted and shipped out always takes time. You have to go into a KS project with the outlook "it will get here when it gets here."

I've received nothing to date and the Ares folks haven't said anymore concerning notices. They have reassured everyone that the mats are going to be mailed separately.
Bruce, I never got a shipping notice, just an knock on the door when it arrived.
I thought ARES said notices would be sent but I didn't receive anything other than the package this morning.

If they split the orders I hope they split the invoice...if the mats invoice is under 75$, I'll slip under the tax requirement...
£15 (or about $22) to the UK and probably similar amounts to other EU countries. And that includes the shipping. There is a hefty "handling charge" that is applied to each levy, so if they send two packages and the customs hit them both then you pay the handling charge twice
My bet is that Bruce and myself will be the last out, along with anybody else that tossed on a metric BUTTload of add-ons...

Then another week or so if I ship it straight away at a hefty premium...oh well i picked up a KS Ogre with a damaged box for $50 so it's not all gloom and doom! Plus I managed to get a couple of my "Holy Grail" wargame wants, an unpunched War in Europe and Campaign for North Africa both from SPI (those of you who know will understand) so i'm like a pig in .... at the moment
Agreed. Higher level pledges and anything with lots of add on's is going to be last out the warehouse door. I guess that'll teach me NOT to be a big backer in future.

Individuals outside of North America will probably be last although there may be some packages here that have already bounced back to the warehouse as un-deliverable if the KS posts are accurate? Larger complex pledge orders might also be near the very end, which I know from other posts impacts a couple of folks here. It would not surprise me that any of the "Admiral" level pledgers also get products near the tail end of shipping?
I did see that Ares will not be doing any retail distribution until January; presumably meaning that all KS people will have their ships in hand by then?
...and now I am picturing a _Monty Python and the Holy Grail_ tactical miniatures game.... :)

Everyone should be receiving an automated e-mail containing a tracking number. Mine arrived today with N/A, which it said meant that it had not yet been shipped.
