Bilge Rat, I take it that those are the ship log boards on the ends? Just curious, what do you put the ship log board mats and other stuff like damage chits, and such in?
My current stowage/storage system. I recently upsized the rolling suitcase so that I can expand on the collection.
In the box at the top turned sideways holds my home made islands and the SoG coast...
I will second that one!!!
I have a friend who stores his Star Wars X-Wing smaller ships in this manner. Seems to work well for him. His larger ships he keeps in their original boxes where possible.
All of it goes into a...
I do something very similar for my Wings of Glory WW1 & WW2 game.
I have found that the Flambeau brand of the large and deep multi-section plastic containers answer handsomely well for the most part. The front pockets that have the handle recesses are a bit of a...
I say "Backbone" because of the fact that frigates are the fastest to be built vs the 1st, 2nd, 3rd rates, and are the most numerous. More missions are handled by frigates than any other ship,...

I wish that I could claim credit for the board idea. Another person I know locally did this and I thought it a fantastic idea. So I did it. It does make setting up the ship log and movement...

That's a great idea!!! I have some of that lying about too. I've been wondering what to do with it. Thankee for the inspiration!
Now on to find that packing foam and begin the project!
:thanks:
36397 This is an image of the ship control board that I glued to some black foamcore board. I have four more control boards that I have not affixed to foamcore yet. Now I'm thinking of gluing them...
That's a thought!
