The Brewers wrote,"The Tashmoo Steamer was a steamship which operated between 1900 and 1936. It brought folks from Detroit to Harsens Island for a relaxing time away from home. At least one great romance started aboard that ship.".
Attachment 29978
Sounds like a nice relaxing cruise Dave.
I could do with one of those myself.
Rob.
Today we have a Fat Tug.
Attachment 30024
Attachment 30027
Something I never saw before.
Rob.
And for today...........
Attachment 30070
Rob.
I have never seen Port Jeff before either. Apparently it is an abbreviation for Port Jefferson.
Is that your local pub, Rob?
Where would a mermaid put her purse?
Attachment 30071
Methinks it is a euphemism or some such other musical instrument Dave.
Bligh.
My beer for today is.......
Attachment 30074
Rob.
Today a Brigantine.
Attachment 30084
Today's ale.
Attachment 30089
Rob.
This drink is named after Admiral Beatty, yet the picture on it Lord Nelson. Perhaps it is a subtle comment.
Attachment 30136
Certainly looks like the full Nelson to me Dave.
Attachment 30138
Rob.
Nelson never had one of these on his ship.
Attachment 30146
Nor even one of these.
Attachment 30179
Rob.
Nor one of these.
Attachment 30181
Well that has out foxed me Dave.
Rob.
But not totally as I hear the call......
Attachment 30182
Rob.
Now my proper ale for today is.

Attachment 30189
The brewery wrote,"
"Ego Alley" is the famous watergate that goes into the Annapolis city dock and downtown area. Yachts cruise Ego Alley to show off their vanity. It seems only proper to name a beer after this famous watergate and an Annapolis yachting tradition, hence the name."
That is a very old looking label, Rob.
Here is a drink for submariners.
Attachment 30240
Here you go. Today we have.......
Attachment 30277
Rob.
This drink marks a 'rite of passage' at the U.S. Naval Academy.
Attachment 30279
The brewery wrote,"
The Herndon Climb is held every May. 21ft high and saturated with 50lbs of lard. "The Climb" signifies a Plebe's ascension to a fourth class Midshipman. A tall glass is needed to pay homage to a tall monument. It was only fitting to create a tasty Pilsner."
Attachment 30281
A bit of the main shipping lanes but it has got boats on it.
Rob.
Here is another drink linked to the U.S. Naval Academy. It is one for the 'bad boys'.
Attachment 30286
About this the brewery has written," Naval Academy graduates and locals will get a kick out of our "Form 2 Bad Behavior Double IPA". Form 2 is a conduct report at the Naval Academy. And the Double IPA? If you know craft beer, you'll make the connection."
Another slightly off the beam advert.

Attachment 30298
The brewery wrote this about the drink,
"There are navy blue varsity letterman sweaters with a gold N awarded to Navy athletes. Then there's the gold sweater with a black "N" on it. Those are worn by Midshipmen who are the "bad boys of the brigade". If you receive enough demerits, you're on your way to a series 6000 status and possible expulsion from the Academy. Ask US Naval Academy Grad Senator John McCain about the Black N. These "bad boys" are considered Legends on and off campus. But the "Black N" letter jacket is banned from being worn on the Naval Academy grounds. So we salute the "bad boy brigade" with our "6000 Black N Bourbon Aged Stout". Sounds delicious doesn't it! "
Not showing up except for the Attachment 30292 code Dave.
Rob.
Attachment 30293
Could get a bit stormy.
Rob.
Here is another drink celebrating something at the U.S. Naval Academy.
Attachment 30299
The brewers wrote," You might hear Marylanders sometimes refer to Annapolis as "Naptown". Some Midshipmen got together and made a music video dancing through the streets of downtown Annapolis (aka DTA) to the tune "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars. They re-wrote the lyrics and even sang it! They posted it on YouTube as "Naptown Funk". We pay homage to that nickname and the Midshipmen's video with our sour Naptown Funky Lager."
