By jove the Mess deck is getting pretty crowded already. What will it be like once we put to sea?
Bligh.
As SoG is getting closer I am sure we will get even more, so I'll top up my Port glass before the rush.

Port Sir! Port, 'tis grog we wants Sirs, begging your Lordships pardons of course and all that.
Reporting for duty Sirs, here on the river Ant in Admiral Lord Nelsons true home of Norfolk.
Greetings from across the pond, Richard. Welcome to the Anchorage!
Back after a spot, long spot, of shore leave.
Thought we had some new crew members aboard or are they just stowaways?
We just don't seem to get the same feedback that we do on the Drome Neil.
Rob.
Perhaps this should be a separate sticky away from all the other threads?
I have no jurisdiction here unfortunately Neil.
Rob.
Nor I, only in the campaign section.
Just reporting for duty. I've taken the plunge with a starter set to introduce the game to my regular wargames group. We started last week with a game using the standard rules (albeit plotting two moves ahead - we've played WoG) and enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to more. For the next game we intend to use the advanced rules, which I'm sure will be more satisfying - last week one of my friends said on more than one occasion 'I want to slow down'.
Very much looking forward to more games and the Anchorage seems to be the best place to come for advice.
Cheers
:salute:Here we are then Paul.
I will break out my best bottle of Madeira, ready for the arrival of the other messmates.:drinks:
Rob.
Welcome to the Anchorage, Paul, and congratulations on introducing the game to your wargames group.
Welcome Paul from across the Pond. :salute:
A belated welcome Paul. If you have the time you might consider 1 of both solo campaigns.
