Hello from NW BC

Hello everyone, just joined the forum thought I'd say hello.
Hailing from Liverpool originally, past family worked for shipping lines or served on merchants and liners.
I followed my nose round Australia, China and other less well known locales working with mining, and ended up following Vancouver's passage up to NW British Columbia.

No great sea legs but I did crew the STS Leeuwin from Albany to Fremantle. Managed the topmast but no furthur!

Have had a decent collection of about 20 SOG ships since 2016 but rarely played due to work (bah). Just getting back into it, building a set of Spanish ships of various rates. Got myself a playmat for Chrimbly, will be playing with my old man and nephew over here in UK. Aiming to rig the ships and rebase over winter.

Looking forward to exploring the forums for vital info!
