New Captain from Germany
Hello everyone,
I picked up Sails-of-Glory a while ago and my wife and I really enjoy playing. Most of the time we play shorter single ships vs. single ship games but recently we started to play bigger games.
I have lots of ideas for scenarios and campaigns (but not enough time to write it all down). I hope to have some nice conversations here about the game and history.
Greetings from Germany!

Welcome aboard! And welcome to this lovely community of SOG players.

Hi again Lars.
i hope you got my welcome message OK.
The senior Naval officer for Germany is Sven, aka Comte de Brueys.
I am sure he will be along to welcome you the next time his ship docks here at the anchorage.
Meantime, make yourself at home, have a good look around the anchorage and if you have any questions just ask.
There are lots of knowledgable shipmates who will be willing to explain just about anything you may need to know.
I hope to see you in the Wardroom later for a virtual beer or three and a good chinwag. Till then enjoy yourself.
Please extend my best wishes to your good lady.
Rob.

Willkommen Kapitän Lars !
I can assure you, as a new sailor myself, that you will find a very friendly, helpful community here. Not to mention the library which is a huge mine of information.
Best regards from your western neighbour France. :hatsoff:

Hi Lars and welcome from Adelaide. My group of 4 play the game about once per month. May you always enjoy the game as much as we do.
