Rob, I haven't received any answer at all regards the medals. Could you pull some strings?
Congratulations, Chris, on your new, well earned medal!
Thank you, everyone, for your kind remarks about my medal.
And I'm sorry... Congratulations to you both! :medal:
:hatsoff:Despite the incorrect ribbon, as I finally have the Doncaster participant two year medal up and running thanks to a lot of help from Ling and The Royal Hajj, am am pleased to begin the issue the first of these much coveted medals to Neil, Union Jack :medal: for his part in the successful and spirited action off Cape Trafalgar.:minis:
Bligh.:salute:
I have looked at the medals Jonas. As there are three there, my next question is which you want for the Participant one and which for the GM?
Rob.
I would guess a possible way of using three levels could be bronze as participation, silver as help out and gold as being the organizer.
The one who has helped me out doesn't own Sails and isn't active on the forum so bronze and gold would probably be best.
Sorry can't do that for Minor cons Jonas. Keith set the parameters as just Participant and GM level.
Rob.
:hatsoff:I have great pleasure in announcing the medal for 2 years at Doncaster to Ruth, aka calypso :medal: for her brave efforts in the Battle of Trafalgar.
Bligh.:salute:
:hatsoff: Another Medal for Captain Duff, for his role in Valdivia at Doncaster. The two years participant medal.:medal:
Congratulations Chris.:salute:
Rob.
:hatsoff:And finally the same two year participation medal for Andy, captain Kiwi,:medal: for his portrayal of Lord Nelson in the Battle of Trafalgar.:minis: You can't miss him. he is the chap with only one arm and an eye missing.
Congratulations Andy, but you didn't need to go to quite such lengths.
Bligh.:salute:
Yes, that's what I came to as a conclusion.
Congratulations Neil, Ruth, Chris and Andy on being awarded the Doncaster two year participant medal.
:hatsoff:This month is going to be very expensive in the Wardroom. for Captain Duff.:moneygone:
He has just snagged another gong, :medal:having passed the 1500 posts and three years of service point.
