Cracking job Chris.
Mine is still ghost white I'm afraid.
Rob.
Glad you like and thanks all for the rep, hope it inspires others to give her a bash, was a pleasure to work on Clippers model
Well here we go Chris.

White undercoated at last, and with the amputee in the background ready to sacrifice itself to provide the necessaries for the completion of the Santisima.
The down side is that with a game in the solo campaign to sail tomorrow I will not be able to get back to painting until the weekend.
Rob.
With the exception of an appropriate ship card and mat my Santisima Trinidad is complete. I toyed with the idea of doing the running rigging, but that urge passed by quickly. I'm really out of practice, but pleased with the sculpt from Dave and the end result. You'll notice from the pictures I have the ship backwards on the ship card, but I've been shoveling snow several times today so I'm a bit out of it. Cheers!

Wow! I want one now!
Superb rendition Jim
I like the dark red masts. Makes her look more sinister Jim.
Rob.
The red is an excellent choice, I haven’t seen a red ship yet. I like that very much!
Brilliant Jim. :medal:
Thanks everyone for the compliments and for following the ST posts. A special thanks to Dave for creating the sculpt that let us get a realistic Santisima Trinidad on the table. Cheers!
Well said Jim, agree thanks to Dave and the elves, eagerly anticipating the Santa Annas now
4 day weekend . . . clean work bench . . . hmmm . . . let's see 184' x 12 / 1,000 = 2.2" . . .

. . . well hello Ana, lookin' kinda Santa . . .
I am also looking forward to a free weekend Dave.
Mrs Bligh is out on an embroidery course for two days. so lacking your Elves, it's all hands to the pumps.
I will follow this product with the same sort of interest which Santisima got.
Rob.
My Hull from Clipper made it to Australia mid-week and like Rob, mine is undercoated white awaiting painting.
Public holiday this coming Wednesday and RDO's Thurs and Fri make for a 5 day weekend coming up so might wait until then.
I was planning to use Merigildos sails for mine so I could use the F deck as well but noticed my Orient has a snapped foremast
so I might swap to them now. My rigging on the Orient was tight enough I didn't notice the break until a really close inspection.
Hopefully for the Santa Ana hull, the postage is the same for an extra hull or 2 to make it a more viable proposition.
So a very big Thank You David, and look forward to how the next one comes out.
Yes eagerly looking to see how the Santa Ana comes out, I need to replace my Santa Ana and Principe de Asturias for Trafalgar.
Ditto that Chris.
Rob.
Much happened while I was at sea. I got a padded letter from the states... I haven't had time to open it yet, but I will as soon as I'm home today.
This is fantastic! Where'd the hull and the ship card come from? ST is the big missing piece for me for doing Trafalgar....
I happen to know a guy, PM me with your address if you would like one or two . . . Dave
Worth taking a look at the Maestro's work here Susan.

Rob.
I’ve found that the first gunports are quite far back. I’m thinking about painting another set in front of those to get the look of having the whole side packed with guns. Anyone having any opinions about that?
Attachment 37802
It would certainly reflect the drawing in Richter's book.
Rob.
I'm content with the ST I've completed. I might try something different with the second mold Dave sent me, but I'm now caught up in Spring outdoor chores and have little time for hobby activities.
Adding more guns would be most impressive, even if it's not historically accurate? I say go for the look!
Now you have me wondering if I should do the same. I'm so easily led by you chaps.
Rob.
