I resemble that remark.

Mr "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot" would be more likely to despatch a class 2 probe than a torpedo. That was the bloke with the wig
Tea leaves less room for :beer::beer:
Tea is great, but I prefer tequila's medicinal qualities.
Esp. as "boi" has, shall we say, X-rated connotations which cannot be delved into further on a Family Forum.
There's a line from the movie _Conspiracy_ which applies here:
"We must all trust the good Lord to save us from the Italians." [Heydrich]
Catalyst Game Labs: Given how badly they screwed up the _BT_ universe, someone was expecting them to not screw up a KS?
KS in general: At this stage, the only way I will support a KS without reservation is if Howard Tayler is running it -- his two _Schlock Mercenary_ projects are the only ones which have arrived roughly-on-time. (Yes, that does include folks hereabouts.)
Tea is disgusting. Where's my Mountain Dew Throwback? >;)
EVERYTHING you read here apparently has x rated connotations. I worry about you sometimesQuote:

Comes of studying language, sociology, and similar -- you'd be amazed how many otherwise-innocuous phrases have "other" contexts depending on who's using them. Not to get P******al, but: When you hear some people ranting about how Word [X] is "code" for Meaning [Y], this is where it comes from.
Just out of curiosity, why has this thread drifted off to the NFL? Anybody else received their pledge today? I need to live off someone else's excitement while I wait for mine.
Not only did I not receive any SoG shipment today, but I missed a sizable WoW shipment while out this afternoon. I now have to wait until the 26th to pick that up from the post office. I was leaning on it as a panacea for my SoG deficiency.
Now, what should I play over the next few days?
If the package was delivered by our regular mail lady, I have complete confidence it would have been delivered correctly. Same with our regular FedEx guy. I get a little uneasy about others, based off past experience. So first thing Thursday morning, I will take the note to the post office, receive my WoW planes and WoW playing mats, and smile. It will be nice to finally have a pair of the original mats. We really like them.
Main package arrived here a few minutes ago. :)
UPS delivered my package as well. The box looks smaller than I thought. Oh we'll, I didn't get to open because I had to go to church. I will now wait until tomorrow, for Christmas Day. I do hope everyone else get theirs the day after Christmas. I don't think UPS delivers tomorrow but I did see quite a few UPS trucks out and about at 7:10 pm?
Nothing for me at my mail agent in Florida, then again, I havent even received a shipping notice yet.
Here's an interesting story today on UPS delivery delays. While I certainly wanted my SoG ships in time for the Holidays it sounds like in some cases very important medical shipments did not make it through as anticipated.

I saw UPS trucks doing deliveries around 9:30 last night!
Delivery at any time of the year can be problematic, but if you think last minute orders will arrive 'as promised' at this time of year you're deluding yourself.
However, it can work just the opposite. I ordered some matte varnish for my ship painting last Sunday (22nd), I received a notice that delivery would take place between 12-27 and 1-2, but in fact, the item arrived here on Tuesday the 23rd before I got that email notice. Weird.
Not really Jim, some companies (the smart ones) over estimate their delivery times, add on a few days. Result is they look good becaues they deliver early most of the time.
Same way as every other Seahawks los this season: they got cocky and careless, and proceeded to hand the other team the win on a silver platter. NEVER underestimate the ability of a Seattle sport team to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...
Kirk: Mr. Scott. Have you always multiplied your repair estimates by a factor of four?
Scotty: Certainly, sir. How else can I keep my reputation as a miracle worker?
