The next outing for sails is at the Games Expo to be held at the NEC Birmingham next weekend.
This is a 3 day gaming convention not a purely wargames show.
There will be Sails and WGF represented over the weekend.
If you are in the vacinity pop along and say hello.
We are situated in the main arena with the trade stands

I must admit to really liking the Expo show, most of the people passing through are just gamers and not Wargamers, they seem more willing to try out something different..
A great and tiring weekend, but worth it I think

Thanks for putting on the demo. It looked amazing and finally persuaded me to take the plunge. If Bruce and I hadn't been pushed for time with another tournament we'd have definately stopped and joined in. As it is he got his starter set and I got my sloop, and we ended up playing in the open gaming section until 10 that night. I think this may be the start of a beautiful addiction. :happy:

Sad to say the sloop "Sophie" hasn't touched salt water yet. I was master of the Unite for those actions and I was very impressed by her maneuverability. I hear the local commodore's taken poccession of the HMS Sybil and has his eyes on a fourth rate in the near future, so it may well have a baptism of fire!
