A glorious ensemble Rob. Now to get em all on the table (With my 26) at the same time!
Lovely, but when you consider how much it all cost...its scary isn't it! :moneygone:
These are amazing, I'm so jealous...
did you paint the Argonauta to get a Neptuno?
A beautiful collection Rob!
Thanks Daniel.
I am trying to get one more French Liner, the Swiftsure, the other British Sloop and then it will be all over until the new stuff comes out.
As you can see, I am crying out for more Spanish to beef up their squadron to division status at least. then I may well have a go at a sort of cut price version of Trafalgar.
Rob.
Talk about Trafalgar makes me remember what the forth ship in wave four was. It's the French 80 gun Tonnant.
Although it's probably more interesting that it makes for just about all ship types for the Nile.
Oh... And by the way, nice fleets, Rob!
Never mind the Fleet Jonas, 80 gun Tonnant, now that is excellent news.
Rob.
I already have my own version, but I will still get them naturally.
I know. I will gradually get any ships I missed out on even if they never get to sail.
Rob.
Have visitors for over xmas so space is not available, by next weekend I should be able to post a review of my fleets
Very impressive! Have you not bought the U.S. ships too, Rob?
Yes I have two Constitutions and Thorn Dave. However, Thorn was converted into my Bomb Ketch Vulcan, and one of the Constitutions is in Dry Dock in process of becoming an HEIC 40 gun ship.
Rob.
In lieu of the SoG Spanish ships (which are all boxed up) I'll post a quick shot of my Langton 1/1200 fleet. My New Year's wish is for the Ares Spanish 1st Rates to be released before Memorial Day (2016).

Beautiful ships, Jim but i think you accidentally put this year in the parenthesis. Surely you must mean 2017? After all, they're not even in the next release.
Ah, Grasshopper, you will always fail when you attempt to comprehend the deep mystery that is Ares games!
(You need to be a fan of 'Kung Fu' to understand this!!!)

[ like your little Spanish fleet! I hope Ares makes soon Santisima Trinidad.] Quote from Julián.
So do I Julián. So do I.
Rob.
And me, It would bring balance to the Force..... Spanish, that is....
Impressive fleet, Rob.
Just when I felt it was O.K. to print that photo, another late Christmas present arrived today, with a note to say two more are on the way!

Never mind level... I've soon filled all allowed building spaces... in almost all settlements. Yes, after removing all tires, driftwood and what not...
And yeah I'm 83. It's quick when you sleep with a companion and team up with Piper early.
As promised my fleets as they now stand
Easy first, Spanish

I can give you a run down if anyone is interested, I also have two US ships but not enough to class as a fleet for me as yet.
All are still in the process of having the spars painted black and need rigging and pennants adding.
That is a lot of ships!!!! - magnificent collection! :minis:
Yes the French are certainly out in force Chris.
Good job the English are up to the task.
Wonderful sight nevertheless.
Rob.
Ah, well, if everyone else is putting their ships up, here are mine as of today!

USS constitution, my 2 Spanish ships and 3 Merchantmen!
There was a time not long ago Richard, when I thought that sort of Fleet would be all I ever needed, with just the addition of some more Spanish.:surrender::minis::minis::minis::minis::minis::minis::minis::minis::minis:
Rob.
Nice Richard, I see you done all your spars, I still got a ways to go yet.
What are the merchantmen ?
