Broken mast marker
I was trying to find an old thread about this, but I'm not that good at searching apparently, so I made a new one... :embarass:
I just made a broken mast marker out of stuff in my bits box. It's a toothpick base with a superglued paper sail, but the thing that I think made it interesting is the thread I put on with the end dipped in superglue and made into a stiff hook.

It's probably not the most durable thing but it only cost me ten minutes.

Wow, it looks really nice! You definitely have a talent for augmenting this game :)
I was expecting some kind of cardboard token.

Nice touch, Jonas! What a simple yet elegant addition!

Can you post an image of this device Jonas? My useless internet connection is too slow to allow the Youtube clip to open.

I'm pleased to see your Duguay-Trouin has the same blank ensign mine has Jonas!

I've removed the flags from all British but one of the painted ships, but the French will have to wait until more ships are finished. Then I'll do all last once. Can't print the ensigns one by one.
And by the way... It's not blank. It's French. :surrender:

Have you played with these yet?
We found using the smoke markers flipped over to symbolize reloading has been a helpful reminder when looking at the table while planning maneuvers.

Yes. I believe one can be seen in the January solo campaign AAR.
