Pike & Shot PC game released by Slitherine

Ok not exactly our period I know, but anyone interested in this era might like this game. It is discounted through tomorrow. I downloaded it and tried the tutorials. It worked well so far. It is based on the Field of Glory Renaissance miniatures game. It is much improved from the PC version of Field of Glory Ancients.

Pike & Shot covers the Italian Wars to the English Civil War. The miniatures rules cover 1500-1690s and it looks like they'll have some DLC to expand the period covered by the PC game.

The only downside with a new computer game is the time taken away from painting miniatures!!

I picked this up over the weekend, as well. it's nice to have something a little different. Plays pretty well.
