I happened across this Advanced Rules reference sheet on Boardgamegeek this morning. Forgive me if this is a repost, it was so well done I just thought I'd share.

Thanks for that. Its almost heartbreaking reading the comments about a B& version and the background :)
Thank you Mark. Very nice reference material.
In the cheat sheet, under Double Shot, it says:
Is that in the printed rulebook (which I don't have with me)? I don't see anything like that in the PDF version... What happens when a gun bursts?Quote:
Firing ships gun bursts if a blank [B] counter is drawn.
Steve (the guy who created the sheet) posted on BGG that he included that as a house rule, due to double shot being more dangerous to fire. It's not in the rulebook.

"If 'B-range' drawn counter is a '0' I just add a hit to the ship damage track."
That is my Dad over on BoardgameGeek, Steve "The Chart Guy". He is pretty serious about gaming reference charts, and has done some superb ones for some other historical war games. He has been making games and charts for the four plus decades I have known him!
I think he is trying to sign up over here, so he can post directly, and maybe upload that chart and future revisions over here. Sounds like people were asking for versions without his double-shot house rule, no background, black and white, A4 paper, etc.
Mark, thanks for the link. Another great resource for players.
David, I agree.
Thank you for this link.
For ease of access, I have uploaded the Gameplay Reference Chart to the Anchorage "Files" section, under "Napoleonic/Game Aids". Enjoy!
I having been working up my own comprehensive QRS. Once I am satisfied and done with tweaking, I will post it up to the files section here and to BGG.

This is up on BGG and in the files section here.

I have uploaded a revised version of my Dad's reference chart to the Files section, it includes some improvements in readability to guide you through the mandatory steps in each Phase of every turn. Enjoy!
I think the link to the file on BGG in the original post for this thread has been moved and can now be found here. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepag...eference-sheet
Or of course you can download it from the Anchorage Files as indicated in the previous post. :salute:
Yes he updated it over on BGG also, hence the new location. I added it over here so people can download it without requiring a BGG login. Here are a couple of teaser JPG snapshots of the front and back of the reference sheet, in case people haven't downloaded the file to look:
