Who knows more about that game or have played it?

Got it. The starterbox Master and Commander is a perfect start. Looks fantastic, a perfect styled rolebook, including all you need. Core rules, additional and advanced rules, Fleetbuilding, painting, scenarios etc. Because of my bad english I need more time to read it complete.
But I think it is a good alternative and also a good complement; think to combine them.
