    May I ask an apparently dumb question? What is a "Sticky Thread" and how does it differ from other threads?

    Not a dumb question at all. A Sticky thread is one that just "sticks" to the top of the top of the page. It's a thread that I deem important enough to make it east to find by always being at the top of the list of threads.
