U.S. History graduate student, from Indiana, USA. Just bought the starter set, and I have the USS Constitution coming in the mail, soon! I'm most interested in the Caribbean and Barbary conflicts!

    Welcome to the Anchorage Luke.
I'm sure you will find plenty to occupy you here on the site.
You may be interested in my series of Solo games which are posted in the AAR section here on the site. They start here :- https://www.sailsofglory.org/showthr...air-in-Morroco

May you always sail with a fair wind and a willing foe.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

I can't seem to start a thread within the Wardroom; I'd like to ask what particular subjects within the First Barbary War piqued the forum's interest. I'd like to use the conflict as the topic for my Research Seminar/Thesis.

Looking for some way to use my neglected US ships and left over terrain from Sven's Battle of the Nile Luke, I remembered the Meshuda thread and looking at more action in the Med prompted me to start this campaign at the start of last year.

My American squadron grew rapidly as did my Morrocan ships and I even ended up adding a few Swedish frigates thanks toTexas.
