Sea of Thieves Video Game in Development
I know the general sentiment around here concerning pirates, but I've always been (and will continue to be) a sucker for the fantasy and idealized view of the pirate/privateer, life, etc. There's a new video game on the horizon for XBox and PC coming from Rave Software and Microsoft.

It looks quite good but I do not think that I shall be buying it.
Just had a look at it myself, and agree Dave. It looks very good, but would probably suck far too much of my time into it.

Jim you may be interested "Blackwake". A pirate game that is along the lines of a FPS game on a ship. Each player is an individual sailor on the ship. It is in (rough) alpha state at the moment but available on Steam. Apparently it has ingame VOIP so you can talk to the rest of the crew. I am not an FPS gamer really but some of my Naval Action mates like it.
