Let us splice the main-brace and drink a full bumper to this day which marks the 211th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. On this day Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson successfully put a dint in Napoleon's efforts to conquer the whole of Europe and wrest Naval supremacy from Great Britain.

A lucky find on my way to the Regimental Dinner yesterday.

Passing one of the trade stalls I happened upon this bust of Lord Nelson for £18. Cheaper than the last Three Decker I bought. Could this be the start of a shrine?
