I dragged all of my SOG stuff to the annual Rincon gaming convention in Tucson, set up a table and was quite busy. I got a lot of attention, played a few quick and dirty basic games and everybody was really happy and interested. A good time was had by all. Here's some pics:

I hadn't even gotten set up and people were wanting to play a game. The first game was a blockade action. The Orient and the Courageuse were blockaded in a harbor and had to break out and run for the opposite side of the table. On blockade duty were the HMS Victory and the HMS Defense. Frankly, after action reports of basic games are really kind of boring, so I'll forego that. Suffice it to say, The Courageous bravely took on both the British ships allowing the Orient to escape the blockade. She sacrificed herself for the greater good of France. The games that followed were more of the same. I was disappointed in the maneuverability of the Victory. The I deck kinda sucks.
