A would love a large single battle type film, Trafalgar but would also love to see a film based on Nelson/Collingwood and culminating in the battle of Trafalgar.
I am surprised that no-one has made such a film but I suppose that it would have been difficult to find enough realistic looking sailing ships before computer graphics arrived.
I would like to see a Trafalgar movie along the lines of Tora Tora Tora. If Godzilla can destroy La then a CGI fleet should be easy. All star International cast. Hugh Grant as Nelson. Julia Roberts as Lady Hamilton. Gerard Depardieu as Admiral Villeneuve. John Cleese as Collingwood. No, wait. Wrong genre. Rom-Coms are passe.
You must have Keira Knightly as Lady Hamilton and find parts for Russell Crowe,Sean Bean, Orlando Bloom and Benedict Cumberbatch.

But yes he does end up dead in just about everything.
Mainly I'm thinking of the two minutes devoted solely to _Victory_ kanchoing _Bucentaure_ with a carronade -- that scene alone will earn it an R rating.

I don't do French accents well, and 2. knowing the kind of scene French would want to see, I'm not sure any actress who could play Josephine would really be the type to enable me to, er, "stand at attention" and "answer the call of duty."
