Thanks for the link. I'll check it out later today. Right now I have to go shovel snow! :(

Read the full story/report. Very enjoyable! Thank you for sharing.

Great job on the story style report. The lateen rigged ship looks fantastic and opens all sorts of possibilities for Mediterranean scenarios.

Thank you for the great after action report! Where did you find the lateen rigged ship, please?

    Nice one Neil,
How did the game go with not using the marked bases. Did you use a template?

To answer the questions so far.

    1. All my ships are Langton 1/1200.
    2. I use a circular compass template that goes over the ship and turned yo the correct wind heading prior to moving to determine which colour movement card should be use, ie green, orange or red.
    3. I took one of the blank ship base cards and printed it out, then simply cut one side of it to use as a firing template. Placed on the base of my ships then go from there.

Will do but it will be next week. I'm playing the 2nd Campaign scenario for 2014. I'll include them in that so you can see what I've done.

I know the SoG ships look great but I have 35 Langton 1/1200 ships and around 80 Hallmark 1/2400 ships so apologies to Ares and others who may frown on not using standard SoG ships for promoting and playing the game.

Well I certainly did not expect to find a cracking story like that to finish off my evenings entertainment Neil.
    Thanks for that one.

Now that I have my Langtons sorted I can again take up with the early career of Captain Jack Union.
