So is that impending release from FFG for SW compatible with X wing or a completely different beast?

I haven't got into ST or SW, mainly because the collector in me would take over and I'd buy everything . That's what happened with War at Sea Minis, managed to get them all when a couple of collections came up on ebay, but you have to know your own weaknesses
