Thread: AAr (in pictures): On Equal Terms (Solo)

Default AAr (in pictures): On Equal Terms (Solo)

I took the "On Equal Terms" scenario from the historical collection and ran it using the solo rules. My, a frigate vs frigate battle can take some time (31 rounds)!

I've created an AAR in pictures, and don't want to overwhelm the thread here. Click on the image below and it should take you to the G+ gallery with the pictures. No account required to view them.

Not only was that an excellent AAR, but the means of delivery is really slick. Your photos are on Google +, but what program/app did you use to put it together? Very nice!

Thank you! I used Photoshop to edit and composite the pictures. I use it for work quite a bit, making me fairly proficient.

Very good! I just purchased Corel's PaintShop Pro and having worked with it a bit now I have a much greater appreciation of folks who have to work with these programs. The learning curve is a bit steep, but it's just for fun so that's the primary focus. Cheers!

Ralf, well done sir. Heartily proud of this AAR, superb game and pictures to illustrate the action. On the edge of my seat all the way.

    Hi Ralf,
Had to post! OMG a great story, told in a beautiful way. Thank you for showing us. This is better than most mag's use. You have set a very high bar.

This is the most professional presentation that I have seen for an AAR Ralph. I could follow every nuance of the action as if I were playing the game myself. The fact that it went down to the wire only served to add relish to the whole story.
Thank you so much for treating us to this exquisite showpiece.

I agree that this is an incredible AAR and Ralph certainly know's his stuff (you should see the digital maps, etc. he works on). I've met Ralph and Tommy Z at past Gen Cons although I didn't see them this year. They could have been there, but with over 61,500 in unique attendees it might be easy to miss them even in the dealer room?
