Default Blank Base Cards (few nations)

    Dear friends,

I made some blank Base Cards (based on Mr Roberts' Black Pearl Design). They are uploaded in Game Aids section of Files:

    http://www.sailsofglory.org/downloads.php?do=cat&id=3

You'll find blank cards for France (Bourbon and Napoleonic), Great Britain (pre and post-1801), USA (1812), Spain, Russia and Turkey. There also is all-purpose blank card (no nation).

    I hope they'll prove usefull.

Also, if somebody could post pictures of naval flags for Netherlands, Sweden or some other nation, I'll be glad to make them, too.

HI Heмaњa, I have used your new base cards for a representation for HMS Amazon for an extra frigate I have so thanks a lot.
I also have a spare Embuscade which was captured from the RN, I am looking to get this one back where she belongs, would it be difficult to ask if you could do me a base card for HMS AMBUSCADE, Amazon class frigate, please.
I have tried but I dont have access to Paint shop and my version is making a pigs ear of it ( yes I know its me controlling it :( )
No probs if you cant, just thought I would ask, Cheers

I would hate to see you overworked BUT, Could you make a set using my avatar and keep the flag flat? I'd be in your debt.

    Chris,

These base cards are a copy of the ones I made for some pirate ships on this site. If you would like I can make you the cards you need and I can make the ship stat area for the ship mats also.

    Hi Hematba,
I must ask. You have made Russian flags as the new 3 bar Russian flag and the White and blue cross naval flag. Where both used in the Napoleonic period? Sorry! But I'm very interested in the Russian fleets of this period.

    Ed,
Thanks for the heads up on this site it is now in my favs box. But unless I looked in the wrong place, I still can not see/find the the Red, Blue and white bar Flag as the Russian flag of today is. Hematba's has made one set of base cards with this flag on the bases.

At that time it was the flag of Russian merchant ships. Go to the shortcut then click on Russian Empire Maritime Flags Chronology.

I think it became the official Russian national flag around 1896.?

    Rory,
St. Andrew's cross is naval, tricolour is merchant. So I made both. I know GB has different ensigns, but I unified them all under Union Jack, state flag. For Russia I chose different option. Btw, I don't mind Hematba (what ever it should be), but my name is pronounced Nemanya

    Ed,
Wiki says 1896. Also first appeared cca 1700 for vessels, and 1883 for land use: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Russia

Thanks for the pronunciation of your name. Every time I tried to say it, it took two minutes to untangle my tongue.

Local best-seller is probably Yelen. There are also Zayetcharsko (gaining it's popularity relatively recently, after technologist "defected" from Yelen) and Lav.
Personaly, I find Zayetcharsko better at the moment.

Regional bestseller in Serbia is probably Nikshichko (Montenegro), but I prefere Banyalutchko (Rebublic of Srpska) and Zlaten dab (Macedonia). Also, there are very good Karlovatchko and dark Tomislav (both Croatian).

From the rest of the world I guess bestsellers are Heineken, Beck's, Amstel and Staropramen. But, besides Heineken I basically prefer variety of Czech beers, finding Indian ale Samurai the best, closely followed by Demon. Also, Paulaner, Grolsch amber ale, Murphey's and Guiness must be mentioned.

Worst beers I drunk are Serbian Vrshatchko, and Croatian Ozhuysko. Also, I dislike beers with added flavours, including radlers etc. I had terrible experiences with Czech chocolate Bernard and German Bamberg smoked beer. Exception, from time to time, I make with Belgian kriek beers.

This is a magnificent work, Nemanja.
A very great input to the site.
If I can have a special request... could you please design the base card with Swedish banner, dear Friend?
