I like this rule. Are there any others?
Yup, try placing the chits received from sloops inverted and the ones from frigates sideways.
I think you’re right. Thanks.
Yes
Thanks.
I agree.
Remember, the smoke stays were the ship was when it fired and where the wind pushes it, not were the ship is after moving the next turn.
We could move the smoke directly downwind which would allow...
Dobbs,
I agree and like this change in the rules, but would like to see 1, 2, an 3 damage chits treated as 1 point hits. The oak on the side of a sloop, schooner, or xebec was pretty thin.
What font did you use for your base cards?
Lacey Anne and Cayman are my two brigs. Enterprise and Ranger are my schooners. Henrietta is a brigantine, and Meteor is my bomb ketch.
I did away with the HMS and USS designations on the cards,...
Dobbs,
Your explanation makes some assumptions that I’m sure are correct, but I’ll never understand. Did you make allowances for a fore and aft rigged ship going wing on wing? (One sail to...
Bligh or Dobbs,
It’s been awhile.
I viewed the cutter card, but don’t understand the color placement for point-of-sail. Does a schooner really sail better into th wind than when the wind is...
I use a sloops stats fo my brig, but alter the rule regarding the number of mast damage from 3 to 2.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I wanted to give Nightmoss time to get his scenario in. Please, if you still can, do the August scenario.
Thanks,
Rob,
The prize crew was made up of 3 crew chits from each French ship. That filled 6 of the 8 possible boxes.
The tale is not over. Just wait.

Were Montaigne and Bordeaux kept as part of your fleet?
If a ship strikes and it has an active fire or leak, doesn't it sink?
Points recorded: 8 for each ship and 1 for the commodore.
Interesting.
6 Tp for the burdens of the 2 ships
0 Tp for the undamaged equipment left on the 2 ships
Your account balance at Jack's Union Bank is 34 Tp.
Your scores have been entered. I assumed that Sterling was leading the pair and gave him the extra point. If this is incorrect then let me know. Sorry for the delay.
So what did happen to the Commodore's ships?
