I embedded a link to JoAnn Fabrics' entry for the Snapware boxes in my post, but just in case it isn't working for you:
...
I like the artbin containers myself, but found that having a couple of them can be a bit cumbersome when it comes to transport.
I actually switched my ships to Snapware snap and stack containers...
There are a few in Connecticut. One of the bigger ones (that I still personally have yet to attend) is Connecticon

Is there a Sails of Glory community on Google+? I found the Wings of Glory one, but would also like to keep up with SoG on G+ as well.
If there isn't, is there any interest in creating one?
Throwing in my two cents on this issue.
While a SoG tournament might be interesting, I don't see it happening on a broad scale... at least not on the scale of X-Wing or Attack Wing.
I do see...
I have done the same thing with the attitude indicators, except I made mine out of wood (I think I have picks on my profile).
I'm not sure how to improve on the originals for better play except...
Interesting. These are the monsters from that old pirates game where you built the ships, right?
I definitely want to see more American ships released, and I think the Constitution is the best place to start with that.
I pretty much plan on just getting one of every ship as they come out and none for repaints. Considering how many other miniatures games I'm interested in (or will be once I either check out the...
The only thing I can tell you is that my FLGS only has a couple of the add ons (coasts and shoals, etc.) in stock. There are a few people in our area who picked up the ships (myself included), but...
It looks like I've been real lucky with my ships, too. Out of all the ships I picked up, only one had a broken mast issue. That one was easily fixed with a little super glue.
Personally, I went with a few different options for my ships.
Everything is stored in boxes from Snapware. These particular boxes attach to each other for greater ease of transport.
The ships...
Our pets are very much a part of our lives, and when they pass, it does leave a hole in our hearts that is tough to fill.
My deepest condolences on the passing of your pet.
I'm relatively new to the hobby, but I don't think that Fantasy Flight has ever done a kickstarter... at least not for the Star Wars products.
They look nice, but I'm not so sure about the $69 price, especially for an ocean mat. A piece of felt does just as well and cost significantly less than that at Jo-Ann Fabrics.
I think they are keeping to space because there has been some clamor for larger ships (that and they have to go to the expanded universe to get ships now for X-Wing). I have not completely read...
You are probably going to like this, then.

The rest of us, we'll probably not like it since it will mean even more money out of our...
I got bugged with the Star Trek ships in attack wing when I saw that the classic Enterprise was smaller than the Reliant. Supposedly the saucer sections are standard, which means that there is no...
Well, not with the release schedule that they currently have. But then, we are talking about a relatively new game in Sails of Glory.
I have played Sails with some of my X-Wing players and they...
Anyone know when these ships are supposed to be released (if to the general public)? Being in the Northeast, I really would like to get a Constitution for my collection.
Working on the third attitude indicator.

On this one, I worked a little on the base, carving in some grooves. I use masking tape for the (mostly) straight lines. I still kept things simple...
Nice work!
When I started painting, I messed up on one side. Applying the particular stair I picked tends to wash out the paint so you can't see it anymore
Sounds like a good idea. I am working on a second one, so I may try it on that. I might have to get some more tools, though.
