The S.S. Henri Le Chatelier was built in 1944 and operated to trade sugar for a few years before putting in a war appearance as a store ship in the South Pacific.

The next hulk is the Peralta and Townsite Brewing produce a wild pale ale named after it.
Attachment 47933
The S. S. Peralta was an oil tanker built by the San Fransisco Shipbuilding Company and launched in February of 1921. She is the sister ship of the Palo Alto.
In 1924, the Peralta was purchased and converted into a sardine cannery in Alaska. 24 years later, the ship was moored off Antioch, CA.
Finally, in 1958, the Peralta was purchased by Pacifica Papers to be used as part of a giant floating breakwater on the Powell River to protect its log storage pond. She floats aside several of concrete ships built during World War II.

I cannot see your last two posts, Rob.

That is odd because they are few of the ones which have stuck Dave.
I seem to be getting odd results now. Some are posting as normal and some are double, which seem to vanish the next time I open the thread. I don't want to bother Keith at the moment because he has enough on his plate without trying to solve a problem which frankly is of little consequence. unless it happens to other people. I just won't post any AARs until things get back to normal.

Just checked with Mrs Bligh and she can't see them either.
