Aberdeen is the next port. It seems to be a good place for tasting whiskies.

After all that whisky, something less strong from the port of Peterhead.

I do like that stoneware bottle Dave.
I could use that for enactments if it did not have the writing on it.
Rob.
Another Cornish favourite today.

The next Scottish port is Fraserburgh. Ginger beer is (or was) made there also.
Attachment 24698
However the same brewer used to make stronger stuff.
Attachment 24699
However there is still an independent brewery in Fraserburgh with some unusually named beers.

I wonder what Tactical Nuclear Penguin tastes like?
Those two last were in the highest-percent-alcohol-competition. They were in the 40%+ range if I remember correctly.
Now we're talking Jonas. 40% is getting there.
Any more nautical brews from your neck of the woods.
It seems to be just myself and Dave holding the fort at present.:drinks:
Rob.
Round the corner to Wales for me today.

In Lossiemouth they brew up a storm. :) Although technically those beers are named after the R.A.F. aircraft, which are named after storms.

Another reminder of the past.
My father was stationed there for a short time during the War.

Could not find anything yesterday Dave, but here is one for today.

I think we must be running out at last, and I'm starting to forget which ones we have done.
Dave is remarkable at pulling them out of the woodwork.

Black Isle is a peninsular near Inverness.
Attachment 24815
Whereas this Inverness ale is brewed in the U.S.A..
Attachment 24816
I have started a list of what we have done but with such a long thread it will take time.
I will have to go a bit further afield today.

Butcombe’s customers recently turned sailors for the day as they enjoyed the launch of the brewery’s new permanent ‘Matthew Pale Ale’ on board the sensational full-size working replica of John Cabot’s ship ‘The Matthew’.
The ship pays homage to John Cabot, the famous honorary Bristolian seafarer and explorer, who sailed from Bristol in 1497 aboard ‘The Matthew’ laying claim to discovering North America. ‘The Matthew’, usually moored outside the Arnolfini arts centre and gallery in central Bristol, was moored for the day outside Butcombe’s flagship waterfront pub, The Cottage on Baltic Wharf, with its legendary views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Cliftonwood’s colourful houses.

For a complete change, here is an amusing one I came across:

I suppose you could call him a sea-dog.
Time for a change of direction then.

Here is another ship themed beer.
Attachment 24938
Here are a whole lot of ships.
Attachment 24942
Rob.
Not quite so many ships.
Attachment 24944
Quite a few ships seen in these waters over the years.
Attachment 24945
Rob.
And for today.
Attachment 24954
Rob.
I do not think that we have had this one.
Attachment 24967
That would double for the Drome Dave.
Rob.
As indeed would this one.

If I used Chinook ale over on the Aerodrome, I would prefer a picture of the helicopter on the label.
I also prefer Tuna to Salmon.

Here is my offering for today.

Here is another fish.
Attachment 25031
