Condolences.
Morten, when the French fails you, you should turn to the Dutch!

...and there you are my friend. With a beauty. The Dutch Navy has always supported the Danish Navy :drinks: Thanks Jonas, i will bond with the Dutch again if it becomes necessary...
...but right now it seems that Mr. Bligh ends his days on a deserted island. And his Ship....

cheers shipmates
I have only just seen this on this thread. Not one I follow. I understand you as my Dad made the same journey 18 months ago. He was lucky and only had 4 months in a home. I was happy for him to go. I had lost the man called my farther a long time ago. All the things I know he did not want to happen to him, happened. This made me sick and sad. My Mum has moved on and we can remember him as he was before Dementia. It kills all around the person with it. We are now free to think of the good times we all had. Hope you and yours do too.
I send my love to you all.
Be safe
Rory

Rob.
I saw a few pages back a bottle of chocolate porter. While spending a delightful time with the crew from Ohio running WoG games at the USAF Museum for the 100th anniversary of WWI, we went for dinner and I had a wonderful chocolate Guinness beer milkshake. It is now one of my favorites.
Rory, Sue's Dad has dementia. It's truly sad to see the increased loss each time we visit.

I am very glad you're back, Rob.
I will drink to my Admiral Croft who incidentally is a fan of port since the 2015 solo campaign.

It has a compass rose, making it vaguely naval.
Everyone should be a fan of port!
Any Port in a storm! :surrender:
Yes, but even then, some sailors are bound to wine, being unable to beer the conditions.
AAAGH! Back to the Pun-nic wars!
Richard, there's no sense we getting into a row over this, for I would hate to be on the receiving end your grapeshot. So I say we reserve our port puns, refrain from expressing any negative sediment, keeping our comments bottled up, and fortify our friendship which is worth more than a precious ruby.
LOL!
What are we having for tea? Attachment 20658
:happy::happy: you de"serve" this one:

A bit of a stretch this one...
To counter my own British first rate I turn to the French first rates...

I would rather have the stout, than the grog they serve on that old tub! :bleh:
And now for something completely different.
Attachment 20712
No! I am honestly not printing my own labels.
Rob.
I believe you as Richard posted these same in a box of four beers, four posts higher up...
You are right Jonas.
I can only plead eye trouble. WELL actually not reading all the posts today.
Rob.
You are of course excused for medical reasons and may very well do as you please. Any time you do something you can always call out "Doctors orders!" and it will be in perfect order.
Signal? I see no signal! :steer:
Here are some signals. Attachment 20716Attachment 20717
